The Mechatronic unit acts as the brain and muscle of the DSG 6 DQ250 transmission. It receives signals from the engine and other vehicle systems and uses this information to control the hydraulic pressure and the activation of various solenoids. These solenoids, in turn, direct the flow of transmission fluid to engage and disengage the clutches and select the appropriate gears for smooth and quick shifts.
